Holiday Alliteration

Santa’s sled is stuck in snow

Christmas can be very cold, wear a comfy coat

Santa’s sled slid in the snow at our sweet home

Have a holly jolly jingly jingle bell holiday

Under the Christmas tree was cocoa, cookies, candy canes and a card for Santa

Plenty of pink presents are piled under the purple tree

Silly Snowman skied behind Santa’s sleigh

Elves enjoyed enough eggnog to explode

Santa’s sleigh slid on the shiny, slippery, steep roof

Gold and green gifts glitter gleefully under the tree

Written by third grade students

Dedicated to the children and families of Sandy Hook. May they one day again share the joys of holiday celebrations, with loving memories of special times with their loved ones.

What a sweet and cheerful thought as only the little children can do. Thanks for making me smile. Too many tears these days.
