Daddy’s Little Girl

Daddy’s little girl is getting married
Mommy will be there
as she walks down the aisle
In her lovely white dress
And she will smile at their girl
Through happy tears
And Daddy will be smiling, too
From heaven above…

A daddy always watches over his children no matter where he is or how old they are. Lovely poem.

I’m sure he’ll be there too, and in all your hearts. I hope the wedding is very special, Diane. Your poem offers a beautiful thought for all of us on those specific times when one place is empty.
