Perfect Morning

I woke this morning to the patter of raindrops. At first, I started to get up, thinking about getting ready for school. Then I remembered! It’s Spring Break! I did what I often wish to do on rainy mornings- stayed snuggled up in my covers. Since it’s the middle of March, I started reading slices, and sharing comments. The rain continued. There was a little rumbly thunder, too. Altogether, it’s been a relaxing, perfect morning.  I have smiled, laughed out loud, felt nostalgic, teared up, jotted down book recommendations and good ideas, pondered interesting questions, and more. Thank you, slicers, for being part of my Spring Break relaxing and renewing.
