Happy Anniversary

Hello, Slicers! How many of you got that message as you started your first slice? How many of you, like me, started your blog with your first March challenge? In 2012 I discovered Two Writing Teachers seemingly out of the blue, read about SOLSC, and decided to try it. Here I am in 2018, still going. If you are new, it may happen to you, too. You may find a love for writing, become a member of a community you didn’t know existed, and change your teaching life (and life in general) for the better in ways you never knew you could. Veteran slicers, you know what I’m talking about!

So here’s to March, to writing every day, reading every day, and commenting every day! We can do it!

  1. Lots of truth in this. I didn’t start my blog because of TWT, but it definitely led to all sorts of opportunities and friendships. Happy Anniversary! Here we go!

Well said or should I say “written”. 🙂 This is a great community. I, too, am glad that I was introduced to it and decided to join.

  3. Yes, yes and yes! I too started my blog to join this beautiful writing community! Though this is only my 2nd year, since I started one year ago, I have not looked back. Happy slicing!

  4. This group has helped me grow in so many ways. It also amazes me the real friendships that have developed.

I know exactly what you are talking about. The TWT blog and challenged added to my life. Look at all the wonderful people we “know” now because we wrote.

Yes, I do! and I echo what Elsie said!

  8. You are telling my story, too. Here’s to a great month!

I love this line! How true! Slice of Life is truly a family. So glad to have found a new friend in a new city today! 🙂 Happy slicing!

Love, love this slice! Excited to know that you “joined up” the same year that I did!
