Back to school used to be
So much more fun!
After a lot of debate, plans made and then changed, my district will be online, with limited in-person services, until at least October 2. Not a perfect plan, but the safest for our city, which was named a coronavirus hotspot.
I can not even fathom what my teacher friends and former colleagues are going through. Added to that the way this uncertainty effects students and families. It stresses me out and I am retired. Like everything in these crazy times I am holding on to faith in Jesus and prayer. I know you will find your solace there as well. Blessings!

I echo Kim’s words. I feel the uncertainty whirling ’round and ’round too. My heart goes out to all my teacher friends as they struggle to navigate this school year. Prayers and hugs.
Definitely a safer way to return, by staying away until 10/2. And by then, it’s possible remote instruction will continue.
I truly hope we’re in a better place by this time next year!
Should or sho we? Will we or won’t we? It is no wonder heads are spinning. At this point I don’t think anyone has an answer. All we can do is trust that the choice made is the right one for the time being.
