April first, the joke’s on us Wind whips Under cloudy sky Brief flurries of snow flakes fly Did nature forget Spring has sprung?

I think it certainly has forgotten! Fun poem!
Fun! Sounds like life in the Maritimes!
I am reminded of the biggest snow of my childhood being on April 15 – snowdrifts up the sides of houses. Seems Nature is teasing with these April 1st flakes…concise and enchanting little poem!
I’m a fan of spring snows. Thanks for the image 🙂
Short, sweet, lovely…soon…soon, Diane. XO
Your short poem is so true for the morning I had. The good thing is that eventually spring will be fully visible.
Diane, this is one for the teaching files. I love how your alliteration and the teasing voice of April’s fool.
Isn’t that always the question in April? So cold on the first, but today was beautiful. I hope it was for you too.
You make me smile. Today it feels a little more like spring. 😉
